Special fabric alert. Milled in Italy with a novelty speckled yarn, this luxe sweater knit is made of 50% silk and 50% wool, with a super generous width of 76″. At 8.5 oz/sq yard, it’s a substantial wool sweater weight with a soft comfortable hand similar to the textured feel of silk noil knits. With no added spandex, this is a low-stretch knit best suited for loose-fitting garments such as a pullover sweater. As an extra perk, this fabric is machine washable. Use wool detergent, wash on gentle cold, and dry on low temperature.
