Smoke – Cotton Sateen Lawn

This smoke color is a very dark charcoal with a subtle hint of blue. A truly lovely high quality basic, this cotton sateen lawn has a silky smooth hand, a subtle luster, and a phenomenal drape (especially for a woven cotton). The sateen weave lends all these amazing luxe qualities to an otherwise standard lightweight fabric. Although 2.6 oz/sq yard, this fabric is nearly opaque due to its color and the subtle sheen. It’s a terrific choice for apparel, especially blouses, skirts, and dresses where you want a wispy cotton look. You may not need lining for tops or even bottoms if it has enough gathers.
