Mauve – Modal Sweatshirt Fleece

This variety of sweatshirt fleece is made of modal with a small dose of spandex. Modal is similar to bamboo, resulting in a fabric that feels very buttery smooth to the touch and has a very fluid drape characteristic of fabrics made of this type of fiber. The spandex gives the fabric more stretch and it also recovers well. At around 7 oz/sq yard, it’s a lighter weight fleece than our cotton variety.
