Bluestone – Modal Sweatshirt Stretch Fleece

Our newest variety of sweatshirt fleece is made of modal with a small dose of spandex. Modal is similar to bamboo, resulting in a fabric that feels very buttery smooth to the touch and has a very fluid drape characteristic of fabrics made of this type of fiber. The spandex gives the fabric more stretch and it also recovers well. At around 7 oz/sq yard, it’s a lighter weight fleece than our cotton variety.

We no longer have the matching rib for this fleece, but because this fabric has added spandex, it can be used to finish edges.
