A modern pointelle that stands out from the classics. Unlike most of our classic pointelles whose openwork is done on an interlock (a double knit), this one is a jersey (a single knit). The openwork features wavey stripes mixed with tiny dot details. It is the lightest weight of all our pointelles, at 4 oz/ sq yard. Because of the degree of the stripe openwork and its light weight, this fabric is semi-transparent and can only work for tops. See our photo for how it works up: while it is not as opaque as our other pointelles, it is not sheer enough to clearly make out what you’re wearing underneath (a rust bralette in the photo). Note, this knit is 75” wide, which is over 30% wider than our average fabric.
