Twilight – Cotton Velveteen

Cotton velveteen in a midnight (almost black) color. While it might seem like black at first sight, the color is actually a very dark grayish blue. Cotton velveteen is like a much easier to sew velvet. Like cotton fabrics, it has a more structured drape than silk velvets. Its luster is a bit more muted than the gemstone shine of silk velvets. A dark velveteen is very classic, and is desirable for its more crisp drape when designing dresses that have more structural elements like puff sleeves or gathered stylelines. This one has great thickness and can also be used for upholstery.
