Double knits are thicker and heavier than single knits (jerseys). They also lay flat (no curl) and are more stable, making them very easy to work with. We picked this one because of its very cool heathered brown black combo. It is soft, comfy, and fully opaque, so basically ideal for any knit project you have in mind.
